I'm a slacker

I admit, I've been a blog slacker. Unfortunately that is not the only thing in my life I've been slacking on. We did great the first 6 months of this deployment, then just when we were almost to the seven month mark things fell apart. My kids both got sick a few days before Christmas. Well, to be honest they both came down with colds around Thanksgiving, and two days before Christmas is when I finally broke down a took them in. Savannah had an ear infection and Linc had a sinus infection. Antibiotics all around! Then on New Years Eve they both had a horrible stomach bug. By some mean twist of fate, on New Year's Day I came down with both the cold and the stomach bug. Sixteen days later I'm finally starting to feel normal again, but Lincoln is still sick. I took him back to the doctor yesterday, his fifth visit since he turned 2 in November. The doctor thinks that he just keeps catching new things, but ran a few blood tests just to be sure. Anyhow, the point of that is that I'm a slacker! For about a week we did nothing but lay around the house. While we haven't done that in a few weeks, I can't seem to get caught up. My house is a disaster, the laundry is still piled up, and I'm officially a blog slacker. It hasn't been pretty. The kids have cried, I've cried, but we are starting to pull things back together. And just in time... JESSE WILL BE HOME IN APPROXIMATELY THREE WEEKS! Of course, that is about when he will be here in Utah, not home to San Diego, which will be at least 5 days before he comes here.

And, as if that weren't enough, the following things have also happened since Christmas Day:
We spent 5 days at a ski condo with my family
I turned 25!
Jesse turned 27!
My mom, my sister, three brothers-in-law, 1 sister-in-law, and 2 nieces also had birthdays!
My great-grandmother turned 100!!!
My nephew, Parker, came to visit from Arizona for 10 days
Savannah started back to school, dance, and music

So, sorry I've been a slacker, I promise I'll update on the important things.
