Well, I hate to admit this, but I forgot the website to our old blog. So I guess I will start a new one. I'm pretty good about keeping our pictures updated on dropshots, but apparently I suck at writting down everything else, so here's another attempt at improving that part.
Just a quick update. Savannah is 3. She's about as girly as it gets. She loves to dress up, do everyone's hair, and take care of her babies. She is sure that she is the boss, and makes sure no one forgets it. She is now 42 inches tall, about fourty lbs., and starting to outgrow size 5 clothes in length. She loves singing, dancing, and Dora.
Lincoln is 15 months, although I don't think he knows it. The boy is growing up WAY too fast. he talks, and talks and talks, but doesn't seem to get that we only understand about a third of what he says. He will hold an entire converstation of which I maybe understand two sentances, but hey at 15 months I think that's pretty good. He loves books, music, dancing, food, and is still obssesed with shoes. Jesse mentioned the other day that he was a bit worried about Lincoln's masculinity due to his shoe obssession, but Lincoln set things straight when he ran over and tackled Savannah. He is actually close to normal size now. At 15 months he is "only" 26 lbs and 31.5 inches. Which seems tiny to us considering that he was 23 lbs at 6 months, and Savannah was much bigger at this age.
Jesse and I are loving San Diego. We found a nice house off base which we are renting. Jesse is trying to get settled into his new job, although since his unit is in Iraq, so far it entails hours of surfing the internet and two hour lunches. Apparently eventually he will have much more responsibility and will even be traveling. He has joined the neighborhood watch and the basketball teams at both church and work.
I'm trying to stay busy, although without a car or a job that has been a challenge. At least the tornados, I mean kids, keep me pretty busy here. We have loved hte weather here and have really taken advantage of it by playing outside, going on walks, and finding outings to drag Jesse on over weekend.
Here are just a few pictures of our outings from this weekend, Point Loma, and the Aquarium. You'll notice I'm never in any pictures because Jesse isn't a very good photographer.
