I digital scrapbook. Or at least I used to. Before Lincoln was born I did a lot, as he got older (and harder) I slowed down a lot. Last Spring Jesse was trying to do a good thing and clean off our hard drive and accidentally deleted my scrapbooking program. Its been a long 6 months of no scrapping. So a few weeks ago I downloaded a trial version of Paint Shop Pro X2. I really like it. The first matter of business was updating my blog. Since I hadn't scrapped in forever, was using a new program, and have never made a blog background before it took FOREVER and about 10 re-dos. I'm finally semi-happy with it. Not 100%, but close. I do really like the header, but I need to find the time to make it smaller since it hangs over the one side. So, tonight was project #2: Savannah's birthday invitation. This is for her second party. She is having her first ever friend birthday party this year, but since she chose a Fancy Nancy theme I paper scrapped those invites to make them extra fancy. This is the invite to her family party. I think its OK. I'm a bit rusty. (I know that celebrate is spelled wrong. THis was the first draft, its fixed on the second)

And since I hinted above about no time... Holy cow! I never knew how busy I would be once school started! Savannah goes to school 3 days a week for 2.5 hours each time. Add in 20 minutes driving each way (so far we've run errands during school every time) and it takes half the day! On the days she doesn't have school she has dance or music. Lincoln has music on Friday mornings, so between that and school Fridays are gone. Add to that my school work, daily gym time, family visits, errands, planning her way out of control birthday parties, library visits, shopping, house work, meals, etc and I am pooped! I don't know how moms with more than 2 kids do it! What am I going to do when Lincoln is older and has school and stuff too? Luckily I wont' be going to school then.

Yeah, I thought life would get easier as they got older. Nope, just different. You trade in no sleep and carrying them around all day, and you get homework and school duties and attitude instead. Oh, wait. You already get attitude! hee hee hee
Oh please tell me that there is hope for me!!!
I liked the Birthday invitation!!
I didn't even notice the header until you mentioned it..
Maybe I'll have to give that program a try. I haven't done any scrapbooking in a while.
