On Tuesday I took the kids to see Madagascar 2 (by myself, pretty proud of that!) they were actually really good. Lincoln did wander the theater for a bit toward the end, but it was pretty empty, and he wasn't going anywhere near other people, so I let him. Anyhow, we were getting ready to leave, and I notice he is missing a shoe. I frantically searched all over by where we were sitting, and it wasn't there. I started going row by row where he had been walking (while trying to keep track of both kids who wanted to leave because the movie was over) and I cant' find it. I was still searching for it, when "the movie guy" came in to clean the theater. I explained the situation to him, getting a bit worried that maybe Lincoln had lost it in the lobby or outside, and it was really gone, but he grabbed a flashlight and found it in like a minute.
Flash forward to today. I took the kids to Panda Express for dinner. Lincoln insisted on bringing in a firetruck slightly larger than a matchbox car. He sat at the table and played with it most of the time we were there, but he did play on the bench next to us for a few minutes as well. Again, as we were leaving, I noticed that he didn't have his truck. Actually, I didn't notice. As I was trying to wrestle him into his carseat he was yelling "Truck, truck!" So I went back in to search for it. It wasn't anywhere that I could find, but I noticed a small gap at the edge of the bench that leads to a black hole under the bench. So I went back to the car and told the kids that it was gone forever, because I thought that Lincoln had dropped it into the bench. Savannah thought for a moment and said, "I know, just call the movie guy. He could use his flashlight to find it!"

Adam could use the movie guy's help, he loses stuff all the time.
LOL-what a problem solver she is!
I totally miss Panda Express and hope you will eat there again for me. Know Savannah has found an answer to all those items that get lost and the "movie guy" will find it all.
