Bad decisions and bad counting

Ok, two quick kid funnies, one for each kid.

Last night I put the kids to bed in their room. This morning I woke up with both of them laying practically on top of me. The following is an early morning conversation between Savannah and myself.
Me: Little Miss, last night I put two little monkeys to bed in their own room, and this morning I woke up with two little monkeys on top of me. How did that happen?
Savannah: Did you put up both gates?
Me: No.
Savannah: Did you put up one gate?
Me: No.
Savannah: Did you close the door?
Me: (feeling a bit like an idiot at this point) No.
Savannah: Well, that was a bad decision.

Lincoln is finally starting to talk more, which leads to learning many other things. As we were driving today I heard this from the back seat:
"One... two... three... zebra... cow."

I don't think he quite gets the whole counting thing.
