Beach Outing

So, after the below mentioned dr. appt. I decided that we all deserved a fun outing. Then it got a bit out of hand. We drove to La Jolla walked around the cove, saw a bunch of Harbor Seals, and played in the sand a bit. Then the plan was to get a picnic lunch and eat it on the temple grounds. Well, the kids fell asleep on the way to the temple, so I started driving home. I'd been driving about ten minutes when I realized that I was near Belmont Park, which was not really on the way home so I must have taken a pretty round about way home. Well, Savannah woke up about the same time, so we stopped and had our picnic lunch on the beach there and I let the kids go on one ride at Belmont Park. They picked the boats.
