Some people!

Ugg, today has just been one of those days. We were having a rough morning, so I told my kids we could go to McDonalds if they would help me straighten up the downstairs. So we get there, and its packed. I'm standing in line to order holding Lincoln who is squirming trying to get down, and some middle-aged woman with her teen-aged daughter cut in front of me in line. Like blatantly, there was no way they did it on accident. So annoying! Then we get back to the play area, and of course it too is packed. There were probably at least 20 kids in there, which wouldn't have been so bad except that there was this group of 4 boys who looked about 7 or 8 that were completely out of control. They were throwing toys all over (I got hit in the head twice) screaming just to scream, play fighting, pushing kids down, telling kids they couldn't go down the slides, ya you get it. I never once saw any parents tell them to stop, for all I know they weren't even there with a parent. Anyhow, after they pushed Savannah down for the second time we left. Some reward for my kids, huh.

So we get in our car and leave through the bank parking lot since the McDonalds side was so crowded. We were driving along, very slowly, when the ONLY car parked in the parking lot starts backing out right when we were behind it. Like the front end of my car was directly 4 feet behind this lady when she STARTED backing out. I slammed on my horn, and the lady didn't stop. She backed right into the side of my car, right where Savannah was sitting. I heard a small crunching sound as she hit me, and another pop sound when she pulled back forward. So I get out of the car, and I'm shaking. Some stupid lady just backed right into my car with my kids in it! So I get out, and miraculously, there is no damage. I think that says a lot for my car because I know I heard a crunch when she hit, but it bounced right back into shape. Anyhow, so the lady gets out of her car, looks at my car and says, "No damage, sorry," and got back in her car and drove off! Seriously, who does that! For all she knew Savannah was hurt. She didn't ask, just saw that there was no damage and drove off. I wish I would have thought to write down her license plate, but I was really shaken up and didn't think of it until she was gone. Luckily we are all fine, and the car is fine.

Don't you just hate days like that?

If you were in a bank parking lot I be willing to give 100:1 odds that there's a camera in the parking lot. You should ask to see the security cameras, or just call the police and they'll track down the cameras. That sucks more than anything and that woman apparently needs a lesson. Sorry that happened. You need to stick up for yourself more! You'd think after being married to Jesse for so long, you'd have it down to a fine art! Call me if you need anything!

Yes I hate days like that. I can't believe she didn't make a bigger deal. I've bumped people and I apologized like crazy and offer my insurance info just in case. It was a tiny fender bump. I'm sorry. Oh and thanks for the offer to watch drew I saw that after I got back or I would of taken you up on it.
